Projects completed in education include:
- Virtualization. Consolidated a sprawling server environment onto a VMware Infrastructure 3.5 cluster with an EMC SAN
- Deployed best practice backup strategy across all Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft Exchange, and SQL Server. This backup strategy employs HP tape autoloader for tape spanning backups
- Secured the network perimeter with multiple layers of defense including Fortinet unified threat management , ISA Server, and antivirus/antispam/intrusion detection/content filtering. Secured SSL VPN remote access for approved staff from any location without compromising security
- Windows Server 2008 with Exchange 2007 server infrastructure deployment
- Procurve Wireless infrastructure deployment of HP Procurve MSM765 Controller, and MSM422 access points
